Portrait
Ha-Joon Chang, geb. 1963, studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaft in seiner Heimatstadt Seoul und später in Cambridge, wo er 1992 promovierte. Seitdem lehrt und forscht er an der dortigen Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften mit dem Schwerpunkt Entwicklungspolitik. Chang arbeitet als Berater für zahlreiche internationale Organisationen wie die UN, Weltbank und die Asiatische Entwicklungsbank. Für seine Arbeit wurde er mehrfach ausgezeichnet.
